Who We Are
The Winnipeg Humane Society (WHS) protects animals from suffering and promotes their welfare and dignity. We are the oldest animal shelter and welfare organization in Manitoba. Each year, WHS supports more than 10,000 animals in the shelter and community. As a charity, it is only because of the generous support of donors that we are able to provide thousands of animals with food, shelter, medical care, love, and most importantly, a second chance.
Along with finding animals their forever families, WHS offers community support programs and services that keep animals where they belong: in their loving homes. Our pet food bank, free behaviour helpline, low-cost veterinary services, and emergency boarding and SafePet programs ensure the bond between people and their pets remain during challenging times.

Every raffle ticket purchase goes right to work, supporting the animals who need WHS each day.
Your $5 purchase gives a bag of treats to an animal to help them through a training session (or just because they’re a good boy/girl!)
Your $10 purchase provides an animal with a life-saving vaccine, like Parvo or Panleukopenia.
Your $20 purchase adds a bag of food to our Emergency Pet Food Bank – helping to keep pets with their loving families.
